Turin Polytechnic University in Tashkent is a non-profit public higher education institution in Uzbekistan. Turin Polytechnic University in Tashkent was established in 2009 in partnership with Politecnico di Torino, Italy. University provides a studying process for over 1,600 students in the field of technical studies and engineering courses.
TTPU’s main objective is to prepare specialists for the automotive, mechanical engineering, electrical industries, and companies in the field of civil engineering and construction, and the power industry, following the educational programs adopted in collaboration with Politecnico di Torino, Italy. Applicants can study languages, cultures, and the implications of social, political, economic, and technological change in Uzbekistan through the encouragement of study, and scientific research off-campus and abroad.
TPUT graduates will receive double degrees in higher education with the award of the Politecnico di Torino (POLITO) Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees to TPUT students. As stated in the Charter of TTPU Campus, the graduates of TTPU will receive a TTPU higher degree according to the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan and a degree from POLITO according to the law of the Italian Republic as a consequence of the signature of a Double Degree Agreement between TTPU and POLITO.
The main objective of the university is to give students the ability to study engineering and have courses in technical sciences following educational programs approved by Politecnico di Torino (Italy) and generally recognized international requirements for the quality of higher education in Uzbekistan and abroad, as well as the goals and objectives of the National Program on personnel training of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The Dormitory of Turin Polytechnic University in Tashkent (TPUT) is a 4-story building providing conditions for a comfortable stay for foreign teachers and international students. All bedrooms are in great condition and equipped with comfortable beds and wardrobes. Every student and foreign teacher can use the common kitchen at every time.
The administration of the University carries out constant work for improving the living conditions for the foreign teaching staff and students and provides advanced communication technologies, material, and technical support for the hostel. Every hostel resident can use every common room in the building, including the library, gym, canteen, and resting rooms. All rooms are well-furnished and ready to use at every time and day.
The allocation of seats and the settlement of the teaching staff at the dormitory is carried out with the direct participation of the University administration. The University administration tries to provide dormitory accommodation for all foreign teachers of the University. General management in the organization and functioning of the University dormitory is carried out by the chief engineer of the University. The dormitory is located on the territory of Turin Polytechnic University in Tashkent.
Turin Polytechnic University in Tashkent closely cooperates with leading European, American, and Asian universities and international organizations for the past 12 years. It assigned cooperation agreements with over 40 universities and companies from 19 foreign countries. Joint educational projects, industry-level cooperation, training, and exchange programs are held in collaboration with partners.
Functions of the International Relations department:
University gives students the ability to study technical sciences in Uzbekistan, enriching their cultural experiences and practical skills. Turin Polytechnic University is providing student exchange programs. Such programs allow university students to study or undergo internships abroad for 1 or 2 academic semesters. The exchange takes place on the basis of a partnership agreement between universities. The main goals of such programs are to improve the quality of education and the development of cultural and economic ties between countries. Undergo to exchange programs in Uzbek universities can be carried out both at the expense of the student and the expense of grants allocated from various grant programs in Uzbekistan.
