About College 

Riga Technical College is a higher educational institution in Latvia that began its teaching activity in 1935. It is a state-funded educational institution with a structural unit vocational secondary school under the supervision of the Ministry of Education and Science. The College usually takes the highest place among the top universities in the national rankings of Latvia. 

College is a multicultural community with more than 2,300 students from different parts of the world and over 150 qualified members of the academic staff. All of them have permanent access to all studying equipment including modern computers and software, a digital library, research equipment, 3D printers, and others.

Riga Technical College provides a high-level educational process in over 9 specialties on the Undergraduate level of higher professional education and 10 vocational education programs for the Master’s level of study. As well as this, the educational institution provides the assessment of competencies obtained not within the formal education system and organizes lifelong learning and professional development training courses in different educational programs for all interested, including the unemployed.

The mission of the College

Riga Technical College’s main aim is to provide affordable quality education while equipping students with knowledge and skills in their chosen stream, inculcate values, identify hidden talents, provide opportunities for students to realize their full potential and thus shape them into future leaders, entrepreneurs and above all good human beings.

Empowering young students to fulfill their academic and professional passions in a College that is diverse, welcoming, and inclusive for all students, faculty, and staff. It makes a great effort to create innovative connections among education, computer science, telecommunications, electronics, science, engineering, and real life.
