Ivano Frankivsk is one of the most beautiful cities in Ukraine, an important scientific and cultural center. State establishment Ivano Frankivsk National Medical University is a modern institution of higher education with rich traditions. 

The establishment of Ivano Frankivsk National Medical University was founded in the year of 1945. Ivano Frankivsk National Medical University is one of the oldest and leading medical universities in Ukraine in the last 68 years and the former USSR. A high level of qualification allows graduates of the University to work successfully in many countries of the world, to achieve great success in science and practical public health services. Among them are scientists, heads of public health service, and honored doctors.

History of the University

Ivano-Frankivsk National University (then Stanislavski State Medical Institute ) was founded on October 6, 1945. By that time, there were 395 students in the institute and 47 teachers, among whom there were only a few doctors and candidates of sciences, theoretical and operated 14 2 clinical departments. 10 years later in high school, with 12 professors, and doctors, the number of students exceeded 1,000. In 1962, with the renaming of the city was renamed as Institute of Ivano-Frankivsk State Medical Institute. Since 1992 – Medical on Academy. On November 27, 2008 – National University.

Since 1945, has trained more than 16,000 doctors, 5,000 of them working in the Ivano-Frankivsk region.

As the 2010 University at 39th place among the top 200 universities in Ukraine.

Ivano Frankivsk National Medical University provides high-quality education to students who are looking for quality education at affordable course fees. There are Thirteen faculties and a preparatory department. The IvanoFrankivsk National Medical University trains specialists along the following education/qualification levels: Under graduate, Junior specialists, specialists, and masters.

Recognition and Accreditation

All the education projects of the University are directed and affirmed by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the Ministry of Health of Ukraine. Degrees and certificates for diplomas issued to International scholars by the Ivano Frankivsk National Medical University are authorized by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine. Students from India will be qualified to be in India, subject to clearing every one of the conventions. Students from India going to Ukraine through Global Medical Foundation have customarily performed extraordinarily well in the MCI Screening Test.
