Accommodation 

  The Student Hostel of International European University is intended to accommodate students for the period of study. The hostel is located near International European University in Poland in a picturesque park area. Students easily get to their classes fast and comfortably by foot or by taking the bus, tram, or taxi.  Each block of the student hostel has a toilet and a washroom. Access to hygiene procedures is free 24/7. Every room has beds, wardrobes, tables, and chairs. Each student is provided with a pillow, a blanket, and a set of linen (changed twice a month). Two or three people of the same gender can live in one room.  All rooms are equipped with desks, chairs, heaters, water heaters, wardrobes, bedside tables, bookshelves, conditioners, and suitable lighting for study.   The Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń (NCU) was founded in 1945. Accommodation 

  The two university campuses in Toruń are Centrum (the Center Campus) and Bielany (the Bielany Campus). The university owns 11 dormitories for accommodations for over 3,000 students. Single rooms, double rooms, and triple rooms are provided with attached washrooms and fully furnished furniture. Special apartments are available for students with disabilities. All the students are free to use laundry services, bathrooms, free internet access, study rooms, and cupboards.  Each room is equipped with a bed, desks, bookshelves, and chairs. It has a shower, a toilet, and a kitchenette fitted with some cupboards, a refrigerator, and an electric kettle shared by students. There is also a shared kitchen on every floor equipped with a gas cooker and a sink (hot & cold water). Sheets and a pillowcase are provided every month.   Toruń is a historical city on the Vistula River in north-central Poland. The Medieval Town of Toruń consists of three elements: the ruins of the Teutonic Castle, the Old Town, and the New Town. The charming Old Town of Torun is of such international importance that it has been added to the UNESCO World Heritage List. Its red-brick Gothic architecture resembles the historic district of Gdansk, but with a much different atmosphere as Torun proves to be much friendlier, cozier, and less spoiled by the influx of visitors.   Collegium Da Vinci provides accommodation in a comfortable dormitory located 400 m from the university building. The territory of the building is safe and surrounded by surveillance cameras. The conditions in dormitories offered are comfortable with all the modern conveniences included.  Students are provided with a large single room with a personal kitchen or they can choose a smaller room for a single living. Students are free to choose an independent studio, fully furnished and locked with individual keys.   Poznań is a city on the River Warta in west-central Poland, within the Greater Poland region. Poznań is a city in Poland that’s packed with great things to see and do. Similarly to many cities across the world, the city’s main square is the best place to start your visit to Poznań. Established in the 13th century, many of the brightly colored buildings that surround the square are faithful reconstructions of baroque and renaissance-era buildings that were destroyed during the Second World War.   AGH UST Student Campus is a truly unique place to live in. Over 7000 students live in 20 dormitories. AGH UST Student Campus is the biggest student estate in Poland.  The Campus is located 1,5 km distance from Main Square, it takes 25 minutes by foot to get to the furthest AGH faculty. There are dozens of tram and bus connections to get to every part of Cracow. 360 cultural events are held during the academic year in 5 student clubs on Campus.  AGH UST holds the lowest dormitory price in Cracow with a relatively highest room standard. All the dormitory residents have free access to laundry and sports objects (volleyball court, basketball court, football field, and gyms) reservations.   Poznań is a city on the River Warta in west-central Poland, within the Greater Poland region. Poznań is a city in Poland that’s packed with great things to see and do. The city is steeped in history, yet enjoys a youthful and laid-back vibe with flourishes of modern architecture and public artwork. Similarly to many cities across the world, the city’s main square is the best place to start your visit to Poznań. Established in the 13th century, many of the brightly colored buildings that surround the square are faithful reconstructions of baroque and renaissance-era buildings that were destroyed during the Second World War. Despite their young age, they are still a wonderful sight. There are numerous bars and restaurants that spill out into the square. At night, the bars become a tad livelier, but they retain a casual atmosphere with many still serving a decent menu of top-quality food.

Accommodation

  Students have the possibility to apply for accommodation in University’s dormitories. At the Poznań University of Economics and Business, dormitories are well-equipped with everything necessary for living and studying. The rooms have furniture, bedding, and blankets. The rooms have an Internet cable connection available but there are no computers. The dormitories have kitchens equipped with fridges and ovens but there are no cooking pans or dishes.

Exchange Student Program

  Katowice is the main city of Upper Silesia - a historical part of Poland.   The Dormitory is situated about 20 minutes by bus (very good public transport connections) from the main University buildings, in Ligota - a green and quiet district of Katowice, with its own center and railway station. The dormitory is located near a big student residential area consisting of dormitories from almost all higher education institutions in Katowice. The sports facilities of the university include an indoor swimming pool, 2 gyms, and a sauna.

  The university offers accommodation in the Student Residence in double rooms. On both campuses of the university there are canteens with a wide variety of gastronomic offerings.   Maritime University students are offered accommodation in dormitories which are located 300 meters from the main building of the Maritime University. KORAB and PASSAT are two, ten-storied buildings which can accommodate nearly 1000 students. The dormitories offer single, double and triple rooms which, grouped into two or four, share one self-contained bathroom. Each room is equipped with standard furniture (bunk and single beds, cupboards, wardrobes, desks, chairs) as well as with basic equipment like duvets, pillows and sheets. In addition, students can use the canteen, library, swimming pool and more.

  The University of Szczecin offers students a place in a room in one of the dormitories. Usually, students live in double rooms. Depending on the dormitory, the kitchen may be shared by all students on one floor or shared by two rooms. Rooms are equipped with everything necessary for life and study.You can use the Internet in all of the dorms. There is no WiFi access and the computers are connected by the network cable. Each dormitory has a reception and administration office.

Student Exchange Program

  The University of Szczecin joined the Erasmus program in 1998 and since then has signed a number of Erasmus bilateral agreements with universities from EU countries, Norway, and Turkey. This cooperation includes student and staff exchange. The number of participants keeps increasing each year.   Maria Curie Skłodowska University was established three months after Nazi’s occupation ended in Lublin on October 23, 1944. A group of scholars from Lviv and scientists who survived the occupation of Lublin started to work in Lublin Catholic University, which used to specialize in humanist sciences. Each segment (most of segments consist of two rooms) of the dormitory is equipped with: fully furnished and equipped kitchen (electric cooker with an oven, fridge, sink, furniture); fully furnished and equipped bathroom (shower, basin, automatic washing machine); separate toilet; household intercom.   The Bialystok University of Technology student hostels, located almost in the town center (500 m from the Zwierzyniecki Park), offer nearly 1400 places. Student Residence Halls provide reasonably priced and good standard accommodation with Internet access for over 2 000 students. The bus stops and public bicycle stations near the student hostels enable our students to reach any destination in Bialystok or its neighborhood with no problem. Accommodation

  The University of Rzeszow offers accommodation in five dormitories which include single and marriage rooms. In one residential segment there are two bedrooms with a hall and a bathroom. In the hall there is a washbasin, in the bathroom: a toilet and a shower. The room is connected to the TV network – analogue and digital (16 TV channels) and to the Internet in the cable system. On each floor there is one kitchen with three electrical double ceramic countertops, an oven and  a microwave. There are bins for rubbish segregation and a chute on every floor in the hallways. In the basement of the dormitory, there are billiards, room for occasional events, ping-pong tables.

  The Rzeszów University of Technology campus includes 7 students’ hostels: Akapit, Alchemik, Arcus, Ikar, Nestor, Pingwin and Promień, providing accommodation for 2.5 thousands of students. Additionally, the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Aeronautics has an “Aviata” Students’ Hostel, which is situated in Jasionka, 10 km from Rzeszów. All the hostels are well-furnished and well-equipped. They offer single and double rooms as well as rooms for three students. The rooms have internal and external telephone communication systems and Internet access. In the students’ hostels there are gyms, laundries, and shops. The students’ hostels are surrounded by green areas suitable for rest and recreation.

Student Exchange Programs

  University of Agriculture has 3 campuses close to the center of Krakow, 4 modern dormitories with an overall number of 1560 places, a library as well as canteens providing favorable conditions for science and residence of students. In the dormitories, there are single, double and triple rooms with an area of ​​approximately 15-20 m2. Their equipment includes everything necessary for a comfortable life and study, namely: beds, writing tables with lamps, shelves and cabinets for personal belongings. The rooms have internet access.

  Research constitutes an inseparable part of the University activities. Accommodation

  Jagiellonian University halls of residence in the center or close to the center include: Zaczek, Piast, and Nawojka dormitories. Throughout the year the dormitories offer accommodation in single, double, triple and quadruple rooms with a bathroom, as well as in double and triple rooms with a common bathroom. The number of available rooms is limited during the academic year. Dormitories are located close to the city center, yet they are conveniently removed from its hustle and bustle to ensure peace and quiet. There are parks nearby.

International Cooperation

  The Jagiellonian University is involved in various international cooperation activities, including research and educational projects, faculty and student exchange within bilateral agreements, Erasmus+ and SYLFF, summer schools, networks, innovation and technology transfer as well as different scholarship schemes.   The University's campus offers housing in 10 dormitories situated in a beautiful green area reasonably close to the city center, and next to most Faculty buildings. Established in the 13th century, many of the brightly colored buildings that surround the square are faithful reconstructions of baroque and renaissance-era buildings that were destroyed during the Second World War. Despite their young age, they are still a wonderful sight. There are numerous bars and restaurants that spill out into the square. At night, the bars become a tad livelier, but they mostly retain a casual atmosphere with many still serving a decent menu of top-quality food.

  Poznan University of Medical Sciences has 4 dormitories: Eskulap, Medyk, Aspirynka, and Karolek. These dormitories are designed for housing students in the English language program.   The Maria Sklodowska-Curie National Research Institute of Oncology is a specialized research institute and hospital of the Polish Ministry of Health, devoted solely to oncology. Based in Warsaw, it also has regional branches in Gliwice and Kraków. It was founded in 1932 as the Radium Institute by double-Nobel laureate Maria Skłodowska-Curie in collaboration with the Polish Government. Modern Technologies

  The Institute runs research and development on all aspects of cancer disease control along with delivering medical healthcare services that assure highly specialist diagnostics, therapies, and rehabilitation for cancer patients. Clinics at the Oncology Center all provide modern radiotherapy facilities, diagnostic departments, and specialist clinics. The departments at the Oncology Center also undertake multi-center-based prospective clinical studies which include those from both home and abroad. In the main, these studies assess the value of the combination and adjuvant/supportive treatments together with the quality of life in patients suffering from cancers of the breast, lungs, gastrointestinal tract, renal tract, lymphatic system, soft tissue sarcoma, and skin melanoma.   The Medical University of Gdansk was founded on 8 October 1945. Its history is related to the tradition of the medical practice of surgeons associated with the Surgeons Guild (active since 1454), as well as teaching and medical and scientific research, particularly in Gdańskie Gimnazjum Akademickie established in 1558.  Medical University of Gdansk (MUG) is the largest medical university in northern Poland, located in one of the most beautiful cities in Europe. Student Life in Gdańsk

  Gdańsk is Poland's maritime capital and one of the largest ports on the Baltic Sea is today a unique metropolis that has always been characterized by a spirit of freedom and courage. Anyone arriving in Gdańsk inevitably gravitates towards the Main Town. Here is where multilingual crowds of all ages take in the views across the extremely popular River Motława, as tourist boats sail past.  In Gdańsk the Old Town means the area where St. Catherine’s Church, the Great Mill and Madison Shopping Mall are located, while the Main Town is the area where Long (Długa) Street and Long Market (Długi Targ) are located. The wealth of the old Gdańsk is proven by outstanding pieces of architecture such as the City Hall, St. Mary's Church, the Arthus Court and the Golden Gate.

Accommodation

  The dormitories of Medical University of Gdansk  are situated on campus, very close to the classroom buildings. The campus consists of 4 dormitories with space for 1000 students, the student club “Medyk”, a grocery shop and a photocopy shop. There is also a canteen, which offers meals at student-friendly prices. All the dormitories are connected to the Internet. Dormitory is equipment (corridor) with electric cooker, bathroom with showers and WC, laundry-room with washing machine and dryers.

Clinical Mission

  Aside from fulfilling its teaching and research roles, the Medical University is the founding body of four healthcare institutes, including two clinical hospitals: the University Clinical Center – the MUG Hospital and the Institute of Maritime and Tropical Medicine. Their significance for the healthcare system is shown in the number of hospitalized patients (almost 60,000), outpatient visits (over 250,000), surgery procedures (over 21,000, including about 1,500 open-heart surgeries) and laboratory tests (over 2 million a year). The clinical hospitals offer medical treatments unavailable anywhere else in Northern Poland, such as: organ transplants (kidneys, bone marrow and heart), radiotherapy and oncological chemotherapy, child and adult hematology, invasive cardiology and electro-cardiology, organ surgery, hyperbaric medicine, tropical and nuclear medicine. The Medical University of Gdańsk and its hospitals operate locally, as well as outside the region. As a result, they cater for the health and security of around 3.5 million Poles.

About University

  The Adam Mickiewicz University is a research university in Poznań, Poland that originates back to 1611, when under the Royal Charter granted by King Sigismund III Vasa, the Jesuit College became the first university in Poznań. AMU is one of the largest academic centers in Poland. In addition to its facilities in Poznan, it has campuses in Gniezno, Kalisz, Pila, and Slubice. The University currently employs nearly 3,000 teaching staff, including 370 tenured professors, 800 AMU professors, and over 1,700 doctors and senior lecturers. The University serves over c. 37.000 students with 15 faculties offering Undergraduate and Postgraduate programs. Students who know Polish can choose from over 228 majors. Student Life in Poznań

  Poznań is a city on the River Warta in west-central Poland, within the Greater Poland region. Poznań is a city in Poland that’s packed with great things to see and do. The city is steeped in history, yet enjoys a youthful and laid-back vibe with flourishes of modern architecture and public artwork. Similarly to many cities across the world, the city’s main square is the best place to start your visit to Poznań. Established in the 13th century, many of the brightly colored buildings that surround the square are faithful reconstructions of baroque and renaissance-era buildings that were destroyed during the Second World War. Despite their young age, they are still a wonderful sight. There are numerous bars and restaurants that spill out into the square. At night, the bars become a tad livelier, but they mostly retain a casual atmosphere with many still serving a decent menu of top quality food.

Accommodation

  As one of the largest Universities in Poland, Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań offers its students a wide variety of dormitories providing suitable living and studying conditions. Located in different parts of the city the dorms are well communicated with the public transport network, making it easy to move around the city. University`s Dormitories include: “Hanka” Dormitory, “Jowita” Dormitory and “Zbyszko i Jagienka” Dormitory. Students have at their disposal single rooms as well as 2 bedroom high standard suites with a full kitchen and bathroom. At the premises there is also a pizzerias, shops, a students’ canteen, a sport and recreational facility.

Research

  Adam Mickiewicz University, Poznań was one of the winners of the 2019 "Excellence Initiative - Research University" competition organized by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education. Its aim was to identify and support Polish universities that can effectively compete with the best academic centers in Europe and the world. Apart from teaching, research is the most vital sphere of activity of the University, one determining its potential. Research is carried out in 20 faculties, departments, institutes, and interdisciplinary university centers. The Priority Research Areas are Agricultural and Biological Sciences, Earth and Planetary Sciences, Biochemistry, Genetics, and Molecular Biology, Chemistry, Materials Science, Mathematics, Physics and Astronomy, Computer Sciences, Arts and Humanities, and Social Sciences.

About University

  The University of Wrocław is a public research university in Wrocław, Poland that has been operating since 1702. Founded by Leopold I Habsburg the university evolved from a modest school run by Jesuits into one of the biggest academic institutions in Poland. Today the University of Wrocław is the largest university in the region and teaches over 26,000 students and around 1300 doctoral students at 10 Faculties. 9000 students graduate from the University every year. Student Life in Wroclaw

  Wroclaw is the principal city of Lower Silesia, a voivodeship situated in the southwestern corner of Poland, adjoining the German and Czech territories. The city has a huge Old Town built on several islands connected by over 100 bridges. Apart from its unique location, Wroclaw amazes with its volume of Gothic, Baroque, and Art Nouveau architecture including the Gothic St. John’s Cathedral, the Renaissance houses near the Market Square, the Baroque university, and lots of fine examples of Art Nouveau and Functionalism. Several musical and theater festivals, as well as its busy nightlife, attract innumerable visitors from all over Poland and abroad.

Accommodation

  The University of Wrocław owns some dormitories – including the famous Wrocław student halls of residence Kredka (Crayon) and Ołówek (Pencil). It has its own sports facilities – at the disposal of students and student sports sections. There are over 100 buildings located throughout the city. Moreover, there are also regional facilities – take a look at our Centre for Astronomical Education in Białków, the Ecological Station in Karpacz, or the Ornithological Station in Milicz. Those who are keen on traveling can visit our polar station in Spitsbergen.

Research

  The university holds the title of Research University as the only university in Lower Silesia and one of ten in Poland. This means that the university receives additional funding for the implementation of the University of Wrocław project, which was awarded in the competition “Initiative of Excellence – Research University”. The Faculty Research Center aims to better integrate the existing projects and include them in broader perspectives of research, popularization, and didactic activities in cooperation with other Polish and foreign research centers as well as external stakeholders from the socio-economic environment.

  The University of Warsaw is a public university in Warsaw, Poland that was established in 1816. The University of Warsaw is Poland’s largest university, and one of its most prestigious. It offers courses in humanities, social sciences, and natural sciences, as well as a range of interdisciplinary programmes. Student Life in Warsaw 

  Warsaw is Poland's capital and largest city, with 1.8 million inhabitants. It is on the Vistula River in the middle of the country. As you stroll the streets of the city, you’ll be struck by the versatility of Warsaw. Skyscrapers and luxury retail outlets neighbor museums and libraries in a space that feels both cosmopolitan and yet rather raw.  Warsaw’s Old Town is the jewel in the Polish capital’s crown. It delights visitors with its colorful tenement houses and the unique atmosphere of its narrow streets. You can visit the Museum of Warsaw or follow the Old Town Cellars Route. See also the barbican and the bell on Kanonia street, take a stroll along the old city walls and take a photo of the Vistula from the observation point at Gnojna Góra. Step into the cathedral, which houses the tombs of the medieval Mazovian princes.

Accommodation

  The University of Warsaw offers more than 2500 places in six residence halls situated in various parts of the city. Each hall has a quiet study lounge, a TV room, a computer room, and laundry facilities. Monthly rent depends on the type of room and dormitory. 

Research

  The high level of scientific research, as well as its connection with diversity and attractiveness of teaching methods, determine the highest position of the University in the country and its strong reputation worldwide recognized also by prestigious international rankings. The University employs 3’900 scholars. Their scientific inquiry extends over 1’400 research topics; students who they concurrently teach have the opportunity of joining in their research projects. The University of Warsaw is present in more than 20 countries on 5 continents. The archaeologists have at their disposal the Research Station in Cairo. UW astronomers perform large-scale sky surveys using telescopes at the Las Campanas Observatory in the Atacama Desert, Chile. Jointly with the Carpathian University in Ivano-Frankivsk, the University plans to renew the Astronomical and Meteorological Observatory on the top of Pip Ivan Mountain (Ukraine).
